Eddie
Background: Eddie was found wandering the streets of Napperville, IL. He was picked up by animal control and went to his first foster home. Where his foster mom figured out he was deaf and started teaching him signs. Unfortunately her personal dog became very ill and she had to find a new foster home for Eddie. He took a two hour long journey to his current foster home. He has continued to thrive and learn basic commands with ease!! This boy is just a big lover.

Approximate Age: 15 months
Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Eddie is neutered!
Vaccinations: Yes, Eddie is current on his vaccinations.
Housetrained: Yes, Eddie is housetrained and crate trained.
Compatibility with Children: Eddie would do better with older children as he is rather energetic.
Compatibility with Other Animals: Eddie was fostered with other dogs, and he has done very well with them. No aggression or dominance issues at all. He's also visited with several cats/kittens and hasn't shown any agression towards them.
Personality: Eddie is a young, energetic boy who wants nothing more than to love and be loved. Everyone who has met Eddie has commented on his personality and everyone just loves him. He is very obedient and well behaved. Although, as with any young dog, he's do well with an obedience course.
Ideal Home: Eddie just needs a home with plenty of love. He is a sweet boy who just wants to love up on everyone he meets. Eddie u could also use a nice fenced yard that he can run around in, as he's an energetic young dog still. If you're looking for a sweet, loving dog, Eddie is the perfect dog for you.

Background: Lena was found wandering the streets mean streets of Gary, IN. She was picked up by animal control. Then she was placed in foster care with cpr fund. She is a very sweet girl

Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Lena is spayed!
Vaccinations: Yes, Lena is current on her vaccinations.
Housetrained: Yes, Lena is housetrained and crate trained.
Compatibility with Children: Lena would do better with older children as she is a little fearful of the smaller kids.
Compatibility with Other Animals: She is good with other dogs, however it has to be on her terms. She take a bit to warm up but when she does she loves them. Prefers male dogs over females.
Personality: Lena is a very loving, loyal girl. She adores the people in her foster home and wants to be part of the family. She is excellent with children and strangers She gives you the most loving, sweet looks. She likes to go for walks and to curl up on your feet in the evening and watch tv. Lena is already housebroken and crate trained, Yeah! She just needs someone who will love her as much as she loves them. Lena is not a big fan of small animals like cats...they are just TOO much fun to pass up! lol So a home with no cats would be best.
Ideal Home: Lena just needs a home with plenty of love and patience. She could use a yard with a fence. No small kids.
