Lambeau Wants To Go Home For The Holidays

Friends,

This Saturday, please join Indiana-PAW to help us bring a happy end to the wonderful developing story of a delightful, gentle puppy named Lambeau.

Lambeau (right - the BIGGER dog, visiting with his friend Rosie, the SMALLER dog).
This story started in August, when Lambeau, a young Pit Bull, found himself homeless, wandering the streets of Indianapolis in the sweltering heat. He had no collar, no microchip, was covered in fleas and sores, emaciated, and filthy. He wandered up to a downtown law firm, hungry, thirsty and bedraggled, and the firm "adopted" him, taking him to receive vet care and finding him a foster home with a wonderful woman named Sarah who has changed Lambeau's life (and is also a Green Bay Packers fan - hence, Lambeau's name!). Now, Lambeau is healthy, neutered, vaccinated, housetrained, and ready to go to a forever home! He's graduated from a puppy obedience course, is great with other dogs (and lives in a foster home with another male dog), and has shown himself to be a gentleman with children and cats. He's hoping one of you will come pick him up this Saturday and take him Home For The Holidays - see these details:

WHAT: Meet & Adopt Lambeau Before The Holidays Event

WHEN: This Saturday, November 15th, 2008, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

WHERE: Pet Supplies "PLUS" in Broad Ripple (62nd Street and Keystone Ave.)

DETAILS: Come meet Lambeau this Saturday! On hand will be Sarah, his foster mom, to tell you all about him. Also on hand will be Indiana-PAW volunteers to help facilitate his adoption to the right family. Consulting with Indiana-PAW will be Casa Del Toro Bully Breed Education & Rescue, as they will screen adopters and the adoption will go through their agency.

Can't wait to see you on Saturday!
